The journey begins in spring when a plankton bloom provides nourishment to filter feeders.
In summer, a variety of creatures are swimming, eating, and spawning.
Fall is a perfect time to explore the kelp forest.
Over winter, fish guard their eggs until early spring, when the plankton return.
